Visit Real-Life Locations That Inspired Disney Princess Castles

“Cinderella” (2015)

While the castle in the 1950 Walt Disney film was based on the Scottish fortress, the 2015 rendition is not.

The castle you see in the romantic fantasy film was shot at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England as well as other locations in Europe including Hampton Court Palace, Blenheim Palace, Windsor Castle, Cliveden, Old Royal Naval College, and Black Park.

The dance between the prince and Cinderella — pictured above — is meant to be the real castle, but is actually just a studio set.
