Castillo de Coca, Spain
Castillo de Coca can be found in Segovia, a historic city northwest of Madrid. The 15th-century castle is an incredible example of a lesser-known style of brickwork — Spanish Mudejar.
It consists of an art form called “Mudéjar art” a style that has intricate ornamentation and decoration popularly used in the Iberian Christian kingdoms in the 13th to the 15th centuries. The stylistic techniques were developed by the Muslims in Al-Andalus.
