More Great Tablets for 2021

Kindle Fire

The Kindle Fire is a great (cost-effective) alternative to the Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy tablet — and there have been a lot of them on the market over the years. This is the Fire HD 8 tablet, 8″ HD display, with 32 or 64 GB that’s designed for portable entertainment. It’s essentially a laptop computer that lets you do everything from stream Netflix to read books and work remotely. It’s faster than the pevious models, has longer battery life, faster charging, a game mode, Alexa compatibility, and so much more.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+

Like with the Kindle Fire, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ is an excellent tablet — essentially a laptop. And it does so many cool things it’s giving Apple a run for its iPad money. It is beautifully designed, comes with the pen, but the keyboard seen above is optional. It runs lightning-fast and features a vivid display. When compared to the iPad, the Galaxy is a bit more complicated, but once you get used to its operating system, it tends to be a bit more dynamic than the iPad.

Wacom Intuos Pro Digital Drawing Tablet

For artists who also need to work on a tablet, this is the way to go. Wacom is known for producing great tech for graphic designers and artists for 20 years, and the new Wacom Intuos Pro Digital Drawing Tablet fits the bill perfectly. The included stylus doesn’t require batteries, and allows the use of technology to mimic traditional graphic tools. The Parentology review notes the ability to utilize technology for data entry and navigation using a pen that feels more ergonomic than a mouse, and you have a tool that easily becomes a necessary part of your workflow.

Apple iPad Pro

No list would be complete without an Apple iPad, and while there are others on the market the New Apple iPad Pro that’s 12.9-inch with WiFi and 256GB of memory is the top one for us. It’s super-fast, has an amazing camera, great audio speakers (if you’re not using earbuds), long battery life, and works seamlessly with all other Apple devices — including streaming to your Apple TV. Yes, it’s pricey, but if you’ve got the money it’s worth it.

Side Note: We choose to place it at the bottom of the list so that we could open you up to new options and then bring it all together in the end.
