Like Little Tavern, Hot ‘n Now was known for small stores with little to no seating, functioning mainly as a drive-thru. Still, the chain had regional success in the wake of its founding in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1984, eventually expanding out to 150 locations.

The ’90s, sadly, were not kind to these little burger joints. During this time, Hot ‘n Now was sold to PepsiCo, and franchises started reporting poor support from their parent company. Today, just one location remains in Sturgis, Michigan.
