This sports-themed restaurant chain was owned by Planet Hollywood, known for their elaborate restaurants centering on movie memorabilia. All-Star Cafe was backed by an array of sports star investors, including Shaquille O’Neil, Wayne Gretzky, Joe Montana, Monica Seles, Ken Griffey Jr., and Andre Agassi, some of whom also appeared in commercials.

Like Planet Hollywood, the All-Star Cafe combined dining with a gift shop and sports memorabilia store. However, the concept never caught on in the same way as its Tinseltown-themed relative, and when Planet Hollywood filed for bankruptcy in 2011, All-Star Cafe met its end.
