25. Fun Spot
Originally known as Holly’s Follies, this site is believed to have been re-branded as the Fun Spot in 1956. During the course of its run, the Fun Spot was home to 24 rides, along with a zoo, go karts and water slides. One of its coasters, the Afterburner, boasted the only inverted loop in Indiana all the way until its closure in 2008.
Today, several structures, including buildings and coasters, remain on the site. Though it’s now defunct, the ruins of Fun Spot remain an attraction in their own right, with locals considering them an essential part of the scenery.
